TRINNY VASANTHAN
President
Hi everyone! I’m Trinny, a third-year EPAIS student and President of WWiE for 2026/27. I’m really excited to lead our exec team this year and welcome both new and returning members to our community. I’m looking forward to building on everything the society has to offer, from our flagship International Women’s Day Conference and Women’s Shard Event to our alumni mentorship scheme, careers sessions, workshops and socials. Outside of university, I’m looking forward to making the most of my final year and ticking things off my soon-to-be-made final-year bucket list. You’ll also usually find me with a black coffee in hand, listening to a carefully curated playlist or making the most of a late-night journey home after a library session. I can’t wait to meet you all and make this a memorable year for WWiE!

Hi everyone! My name is Anu and I’m a third-year Economics student and Vice President of Warwick Women in Economics for 2026/27. I’m so excited to work alongside our amazing exec team this year, meet new people and help grow the WWiE community. I’m looking forward to bringing all the new events we’ve been planning to life and making this a year to remember. Outside of university, you’ll usually find me studying in the library — I need the subtle pressure of seeing everyone else working to convince myself to lock in!

My name is Valliammai and I’m a third-year Economics student and Secretary & Welfare Officer for WWiE. I’m really excited to be part of the exec team this year and help make WWiE as welcoming and inclusive as possible. I’m looking forward to all the different events we have planned and getting to meet more of you throughout the year. Outside of university, you’ll usually find me listening to classical music, and if I could instantly master one skill, it would definitely be speaking multiple languages!

My name is Rhea and I’m a second-year Economics and GSD student and Treasurer of Warwick Women in Economics for 2026/27. I’m really excited to be part of such an amazing exec team and help bring you the best opportunities and events this year. I’m especially looking forward to our Shard Elevate event and meeting everyone throughout the year. Outside of university, you’ll usually find me studying at Fab with a Caffè Nero matcha in hand, or relying on a library vending machine coffee to get me through a long revision day!

Hey everyone, my name is Veera and I’m a second-year Economics student and Events & Socials Officer for Warwick Women in Economics. I’m really excited to be part of the WWiE exec team this year and help plan a range of fun and exciting socials for everyone. Outside of Economics, I’d love to study Classics, and my dream holiday destination is Brazil!

Hey everyone! My name is Bella and I’m a second-year Economics student and Events & Socials Officer for Warwick Women in Economics. Hey everyone! My name is Aanya and I’m a second-year Economics student and External Communications Officer for Warwick Women in Economics. I’m super excited to be part of WWiE this year and help bring some amazing speakers and opportunities to campus. Outside of university, you’ll usually find me studying on Library Floor 5 or at Nexus Café, and one thing on my bucket list is to visit all seven wonders of the world!

I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and getting involved throughout the year. Outside of university, I’m a big fan of pho and Zootopia, and one thing on my bucket list is to visit Iceland!

Hey everyone! My name is Ismat and I’m a second-year Economics student and Internal Communications Officer for Warwick Women in Economics. I’m really excited to be part of the WWiE exec team this year and help make everything we have planned as accessible and engaging as possible. I’m especially looking forward to connecting the Warwick community through our WWiE schemes and getting everyone involved. Outside of university, my ultimate comfort food is butter chicken, and one thing on my bucket list is to attend a 9 a.m. lecture!

Hey everyone, I’m Zaina, a 2nd year PPE student and I’m one of the internal communications officers! I’m really excited to be part of the WWiE exec team this year alongside Ismat and help make sure everyone feels connected and involved. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and making the most of the year together. I love watching Grey’s Anatomy, going for walks around campus and studying at the FAB or Café Nero in the Sports Hub!

Hi everyone! I’m Rija, a second-year Economics student and your Head of Careers this year. I’m a fan of Gilmore Girls and Modern Family, and my dream destinations include South Korea and Greece. One of my favourite Warwick memories is staying up late with friends and watching the sunrise together, which is a reminder of how much there is to enjoy beyond university life itself. I’m really excited to bring you a range of careers opportunities, events and insights this year, whether you already have a career path in mind or are still exploring your options.

Hi, I’m Rithanya, a 3rd year Economics student and Editorial officer for this year. I'm really excited to work with the others and make this year great for WWiE and meet all our new members!
You can usually catch me listening to music while working in a cafe, or taking long walks - especially during sunsets. Outside of university I love to travel and explore the food scenes in different cities. My favourite show currently is probably the Diplomat on Netflix.

Hi everyone! I’m Ria, a second-year MORSE student and one of your Marketing Executives this year. I particularly enjoy studying in the FAB, and one of my favourite things about university is the range of opportunities to get involved beyond your degree. My advice is to be open to new experiences and opportunities, as you never know where they might lead. I’m looking forward to helping keep you up to date with everything WWiE has to offer and seeing you at our events throughout the year.

Hi everyone! I’m Anagha, a second-year Management student and one of your Marketing Executives this year. My favourite place to study is the Grad Deck at Lakeside, and I’m also a big fan of BBC’s Sherlock. Moving away from home and starting university can be daunting, but I found that getting involved in societies was a great way to meet people and build a sense of community. I’m excited to help share everything WWiE has to offer and make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunities and events throughout the year.

Outside of my studies, I’m a big Doctor Who fan, and some of my favourite films are Coraline and Pacific Rim. Hi everyone! I’m Lavanya, a second-year Economics student and your Tour Executive this year. My favourite places to study are the FAB and the top floor of the Library, and visiting the Alps is high on my list of dream travel experiences. I believe that being comfortable doing things independently and embracing new experiences is an important part of university life. I’m really looking forward to welcoming you to Warwick and taking you on some exciting tours throughout the year.

Hi everyone! I’m Liza, a third-year Economics student and one of your Charity Executives this year. One of my favourite things about Warwick is the close-knit campus, where it’s easy to bump into people you know and stay connected with friends. Outside of university, I’d love to travel to Greece to explore its history and visit the Parthenon, as well as travel to Ithaca to see the sites associated with Odysseus. I’m really excited to be part of WWiE again this year and to contribute to our charity and fundraising initiatives.

Hi everyone! I’m Vithika, a second-year student studying Economics, Psychology and Philosophy, and one of your Charity Executives this year. Outside of my studies, I enjoy watching Modern Family, and pasta is definitely my go-to comfort food. My advice for starting university is to make the most of your first few weeks and get involved in as many events as you can. I’m really looking forward to working with the team to organise our charity initiatives and fundraising events throughout the year.

Hi everyone! I’m Camille, a second-year Economics, Politics and International Studies student and your Sports Officer this year. I have a particular interest in women’s football and hope to work in the sport in the future, inspired by figures such as Emma Hayes, whose work has contributed to the development and visibility of the women’s game. I’m really excited to bring more sport into university life this year, work alongside the WWiE team and create opportunities for everyone to get involved. To all our freshers, my advice is to embrace this new chapter, try new things and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way!

Hi everyone! I’m Audrey, a second-year Economics student and one of your Ball Officers this year. I’m a fan of Peaky Blinders, and if I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose Costa Rica to explore its incredible nature, wildlife and beaches. If I weren’t studying Economics, I’d probably study Aerospace Engineering, as I’ve always found aircraft and space fascinating. My advice is to stay open to new experiences, as you never know what you might end up enjoying, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and helping make this year’s events memorable!

Hi everyone! I’m Eesha, a second-year Economics student and one of your Ball Officers this year. Outside of my studies, I enjoy watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and if I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose Tanzania for its beautiful balance of nature and community. If I weren’t studying Economics, I’d love to study Film Studies or Photography, as I’ve always been interested in creative subjects. I’m really excited to help organise this year’s Annual Ball and can’t wait for you all to experience the events we have planned!
